Niqaab touching the face while in Ihraam

QUESTION:-

I am leaving for Hajj next week and would like to know the ruling of wearing a Niqaab (one that touches the face) during Ihraam?

ANSWER:-

If you cover your face whilst in Ihraam for an entire day (12 hours or more), or the entire night (12 hours or more), then one Damm will be Waajib. However, if you cover the face less than an entire day or night, it will be Waajib to discharge Sadaqah (which is the amount of Sadaqatul Fitr). [Re:- Muallimul Hujjaj Pg.243]
