Queefing in Salaah

Question:-

What is the ruling regarding queefing in salaah? Does it break your Salaah only, or does it break your Wudhu and Salaah? Is one considered a Ma’thoor? Please provide a detailed a response.

Answer:-

Wind that is released from the front passage (of the male or female) does not invalidate one’s Wudhu, whether one is in Salaah or not. Since it does not affect the validity of one’s Wudhu, one will not be considered a Ma’zoor. The jurists have written that this is not wind, it is the wind sound created due to some form of agitation in the veins. There is no impurity in this wind hence, it does not invalidate one’s Wudhu.

إلا ريح القبل” الذكر والفرج “في الأصح” لأنه اختلاج لا ريح وإن كان ريحا لا نجاسة فيه وريح الدبر ناقضة بمرورها على النجاسة (مراقي الفلاح ص38 ج1)
