QUESTION:
If an Imaam reads سمع الله لمن همده, is the Salaah valid?
ANSWER:
In the queried scenario, the Salaah will be valid. However, the Imaam should try to pronounce the letters correctly from their proper Makhraj. If he is unable to pronounce the letters correctly, then such an Imaam should not lead the congregation if a better reciter is available. [Re: Fataawa Mahmoodiyyah Vol:11 Pg:182]
