Sajdah-e-Tilaawat when reading translation

Question:-

If a person is reading the translation of the Quraan Sharif in English or Urdu, and he reads the translation of a verse of Sajdah, then is it necessary for him to perform Sajdah Tilaawah, just as it would have been necessary if he had recited the Ayah in Arabic?

Answer:- 

Yes, Sajdah will be obligatory if one reads the translation of the verse of Sajdah.

ولو تلى بالفارسية تجب عليه وعلى من سمعها السجدة فهم السامع أو لم يفهم (فتاوي قاضيخان علي هامش الهندية ص156 ج1 / الفتاوي الهندية ص133 ج1)
