Student being a Musaafir at home during holidays
Question:-
A person from Johannesburg studies in Cape Town. Now, when he returns to Johannesburg for the holidays, will he be a Musaafir?
Answer:-
We understand that Johannesburg is his permanent residence, referred to as ‘Watn-e-Asli’, while Cape Town is his temporary residence, referred to as ‘Watn-e-Iqaamah.’ If he comes to Johannesburg (Watn-e-Asli) during the holidays, then he will have to perform full Salaah irrespective of the duration of his stay in Johannesburg.
