QUESTION:
Does sublingual medication break the fast?
ANSWER:
Sublingually administered medications are dissolved underneath the tongue before passing directly into the bloodstream. It is inevitable that particles of the medication will enter the throat (when placed under the tongue) resulting in the fast being nullified.
