Talaaq by the husband saying ‘I am going and not comming back.’
Question:-
My wife and I had an argument and in the process she told me to leave her, which I obliged to by saying, “I’m going and not coming back.”
My intention was truly that but after that, I realized I had nowhere else to go.
My wife argues that she meant I must give her space and not actually leave her. I understood it as she meant it, hence my reaction.
Does this constitute divorce?
Answer:-
Your statement, “I am going and not coming back,” will not constitute divorce. You may therefore continue with your marital relationship as normal.
