Using a nicotine patch in Ihraam

Question:-

Is one allowed to wear a nicotine patch whilst in Ihraam?

Answer:-

Yes, it will be permissible for one to use a nicotine patch during Ihraam, particularly if one is trying to give up smoking, with the proviso that the patch does not comprise of anything that is not permitted to use during Ihraam. However, the patch should not be utilized unnecessarily.
