Using ‘Squid ink’

Is squid ink permissible to use?
Answer:-
Squid ink is derived from Squid, immediately after it dies. Squids do not fall in the category of fish. They are classified as ‘Cephalopods’, which are specific members of the ‘Mollusca Phylum’ similar to the octopus, cuttlefish, nautilus, etc. which are all impermissible to consume. Based on the above, it will not be permissible to utilize squid ink.
