Will it be correct for the wife not to fulfil her husband’s conjugal rights due to her not “being in the mood”?
ANSWER:
Not being in the mood or experiencing slight discomfort is not a valid reason for refusing one’s husband his conjugal rights. Yes, if she is experiencing Haidh, Nifaas or severe illness then she may refuse intimacy. It is necessary for the husband to take the wife’s feelings and emotions into consideration.
