Question:-
Will it be acceptable if a person who is making a Khatam of the Quraan in Taraweeh, to skip one or two Paras and read another para ahead, and then come back to the skipped Paras?
Some Apas that teach Hifz, instruct the students to alternate by reading a Para (that is well learnt) and a Para (that is weak), is this appropriate?
Answer:-
The Quraan Sharif should be recited in sequence in Taraweeh Salaah, as is written in the Quraan Sharif. The method prescribed by the Apas is Makrooh and should be discarded.
ويكره الفصل بسورة قصيرة وأن يقرأ منكوسا إلا إذا ختم فيقرأ من البقرة. (الدر المختار ص546 ج1)
