Deception during Umrah
QUESTION:-
Would it be permissible to override the Nusuk App so that we can visit the Rowdah-e-Mubarak more than once? Also, in Makkah, only those in Ihraam who are performing Umrah are allowed on the Mataaf to make Tawaaf. As a result, people wear the Ihraam just so that they can make Tawaaf on the Mataaf. Would this be permissible?
ANSWER:-
In principle, it should be borne in mind that the Masjid is the house of Allah Ta’ala, and no one has the right to stop another from accessing any portion of the Masjid. The Quraan Sharif states:
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن مَّنَعَ مَسَـجِدَ اللَّهِ أَن يُذْكَرَ فِيهَا اسْمُهُ وَسَعَى فِى خَرَابِهَآ (سورة البقرة آية 114)
Who can do greater wrong than the one who prevents the name of Allah from being taken in the Masaajid and who does all he can to destroy them?
Hence, there is no harm in trying to access the Mataaf and Rowdah-e-Mubarak whenever one wishes. However, one should refrain from any form of deception such as attempting to hack the Nusuk App, or wearing an Ihraam giving the impression that one is doing Umrah. Yes, if after performing Umrah, one remains in a state of Ihraam for a while before removing the hair, then there is no harm in doing so. In fact, one does not become Halaal (from his Ihraam) until the hair is trimmed or shaved.
ALLAH TA’ALA ALONE IN HIS INFINITE KNOWLEDGE KNOWS BEST!
