QUESTION:
A husband was about to embark on a journey when his wife unexpectedly became unwell. Is it necessary for the husband to take his wife along, or must he stay behind to attend to her?
ANSWER:
The husband is permitted to travel even though his wife may be ill. However, it is necessary for him to ensure that his wife is taken care of in his absence. He may also take his wife along with him.
