Question:-
How does a latecomer complete his Eid Salaah?
Answer:-
If a person joined the Imaam in the first Rakaat of the Eid Salaah, after the Imaam had commenced with Qiraat, then he will say the Takbeeraat after the Takbeer-e-Tahreemah. If he joins the Imaam in Ruku and is certain that he will be able to say the extra Takbeeraat and still get the Imaam in Ruku, then he will say the extra Takbeeraat in Qiyaam and join the Imaam in Ruku, otherwise, he will go into Ruku without saying the extra Takbeeraat.
If he joins the Imaam in the second Rakaat, then after the Salaam of the Imaam he will stand up to complete his missed Rakaat. After completing his Qiraat (of the missed Rakaat), he will say the missed Takbeeraat. If he joined the Imaam in the Tashahhud (of the second Rakaat), then he will complete the Salaah as the Imaam performed the Salaah from the beginning.
