Feeling of passing wind
Question:-
Recently, after completing my Wudhu, either immediately after, and/or during Salaah, and/or from one Salaah to the next, I get the feeling of needing to pass wind. I try to ignore this feeling, however, I keep having a “sensation” as though I have passed wind. Even though it feels that wind has passed through my back passage, it’s not like how I normally pass wind. When these feelings occur, I do feel a “relief” for a short while from the feeling of needing to pass wind, however, not long after that, it occurs again.
I do not smell or hear any sounds when the feeling occurs. Furthermore, whenever I remember, I try to monitor whether these feelings occur throughout the day, or only once I make wudhu. To me, it seems as though these feelings occur once I perform Wudhu. During the days of Haidh, or at the time when I am certain that I am not in wudhu, I do not get these sensations.
Answer:-
The feeling or doubts of passing wind (as experienced by you) does not invalidate one’s Wudhu. Yes, if you really passed wind with certainty, then your Wudhu will be invalid. However, if there is no certainty in the matter and you are merely experiencing doubts, then you should ignore these doubts.
