Impure clothing being cleansed by diving into a large pool or ocean

Question:-

If a person’s clothes got najis with urine drops and he then enters a big pool, or an ocean, will the clothes become pure because of entering the pool, or does it still need to be washed?

Answer:-

If the impurity on the clothing is of such a nature that it is not visible, then the garment should be washed thrice and properly squeezed each time. However, if the garment is washed thrice in flowing water, then it will not be necessary to squeeze the garment. It will be regarded as Paak just by having it washed thrice. Based on the above, if the clothing is washed thrice (by emerging into the ocean or a large pool – whose water will not be affected by the impurity – and coming out thrice), then the clothing will be considered as clean with the proviso that the impure area was washed whilst in the water.
