Masbooq leading late-comers in Salaah
Question:-
1. If I am reading a 4 Rakaat Salaah and forget to sit in the Qadha (sitting posture) of the second Rakaat, should I make up by sitting in the third Rakaat and then make Sajdah-e-Sahw in the end, or should I just make Sajdah-e-Sahw?
2. I’m a follower of the Hanafi Madhab living in Cape Town where people often tap a Masbooq on their back, and consequently the Masbooq starts reading aloud to lead them in Salaah, whilst completing his missed Rakaat. What should I do if I am tapped on my back to lead the latecomers in Salaah?
Answer:-
1. There is no need to sit in the third Rakaat for missing out the Qa’dah Ula at the end of the second Rakaat. Sajda-e-Sahw at the end of Salaah will suffice (in compensating) for missing out the Waajib of Salaah unintentionally.
2. You should continue with your Salaah as normal and complete it without paying any attention to them. It is not correct for you as a ‘Masbooq’ to lead another in Salaah.
