Muazzin omitting words of the Adhaan

Question:-

1. What should be done if the words ‘As Salaatu Khairum Minan Nawm’ is omitted in the Fajr Adhaan?

2. What is the ruling if the Adhaan is called out before the Salaah time sets in?

Answer:-

1. It is Mustahab to say the words ‘As Salaatu Khairum Minan Nawm’ in the Fajr Adhaan. If one remembers immediately after the Adhaan that these words were omitted, then it will be better to recite these words (‘As Salaatu Khairum Minan Nawm’) and thereafter repeat the remaining words until the end of the Adhaan. However, if one remembers some time after the Adhaan that these words were forgotten, then there is no need for repetition. [Re:- Ahsanul Fataawa Pg.286 Vol.2]

2. If the Adhaan was called out before the time, it is necessary to repeat the Adhaan after the Salaah time enters. [Re:- Ahsanul Fataawa Pg.290 Vol.2]
