Performing Salaah before a Quraan Sharif

Question:-

During the month of Ramadaan, I recite Quraan Sharif in the Masjid. I then stop my recitation and keep the Quraan Sharif in front of me on a desk. After I complete my Salaah, I continue with my recitation. Is this in order?

Answer:-

There is no problem in keeping the Quraan Sharif in front of you when performing Salaah, as the Quraan Sharif is not worshipped by anyone.

ولا باس بان يصلي وبين يديه اي قدامه مصحف معلق او سيف معلق لانهما لم يعبدهما احد
