What is Mufti Sahib’s Fatwa on Quraan apps?

Answer:-

The mobile phone has become a tool of entertainment, to the extent that, the worst form of filth and impurity is found on the phone. The Quraan Sharif is the pure word of Allah Ta’ala and deserves utmost respect and honour. We are, therefore, not comfortable with storing the Quraan Sharif on a device that comprises of Haraam photos, videos, music, etc. Also, the phone is taken with us into the bathroom, left on the floor for charging, etc. which is inappropriate for the Quraan Sharif, although the app may be closed. Hence, it is best that we use the Mushaf to make Tilaawat of the Quraan Sharif.
