Removing artificial hair braids on demise
Question:-
What is the ruling in regards to removing artificial hair braids at the time of giving Ghusl to deceased?
Answer:-
If the hair braids can be easily removed then it should be removed at the time of Ghusl. However, if it is firmly attached to the existing hair of the deceased, and by trying to undo them, one will be causing inconvenience to the deceased, then it should be treated as one’s natural hair and washed. It should not be removed.
