Starting point of Haidh

Question:-

If a woman wipes the internal section of the vagina (which is referred to as the Farj-e-Dhaakhil) with a tissue,. or inserts a piece of cotton in her “Farj-e- Dhaakhil” and sees some blood on the tissue (and it is the time of Haidh), then will the Haidh period commence?

Answer:-

It is necessary for the blood to emerge from the vagina and become apparent (on the skin) for a woman to be considered to be in a state of Haidh. Hence, in the queried scenario, the woman will not be considered to be in a state of Haidh as the blood did not emerge and become apparent on the skin as mentioned in the Kitaabs of Fiqh.

لَا يَثْبُتُ حُكْمُ كُلٍّ مِنْهَا إلَّا بِخُرُوجِ الدَّمِ وَظُهُورِهِ وَهَذَا هُوَ ظَاهِرُ مَذْهَبِ أَصْحَابِنَا وَعَلَيْهِ عَامَّةُ مَشَايِخِنَا وَعَلَيْهِ الْفَتْوَى. هَكَذَا فِي الْمُحِيطِ. (الفتاوي الهندية ص38 ج1)

ومنها (أي من الأمور التي يتوقف عليها كون الدم حيضا) خُرُوجُ الدَّمِ إلَى الْفَرْجِ الْخَارِجِ وَلَوْ بِسُقُوطِ الْكُرْسُفِ فَمَا دَامَ بَعْضُ الْكُرْسُفِ حَائِلًا بَيْنَ الدَّمِ وَالْفَرْجِ الْخَارِجِ لَا يَكُونُ حَيْضًا. هَكَذَا فِي الْمُحِيطِ. (الفتاوي الهندية ص36 ج1)
