The Reward for he who Safeguards his Wudhu
Rabi’ah Al Jarshi Radiallahu Anha narrates that Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: “Remain steadfast! And how great it will be if you remain steadfast! Safeguard the Wudhu for surely, the best of your deeds is Salaah. Be cautious of the earth for it is your mother-no matter what a person does on it, be it good or evil, it will inform (Allah Ta’ala) thereof.” [Tabraani]
Abu Hurairah Radiallahu Anhu narrates that Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: “Were it not for my fear of causing difficulty on my Ummah, I would have ordered them to perform Wudhu for every Salaah, and to use the Miswaak with every Wudhu.” [Ahmad]
Ibn Umar Radiallahu Anhu narrates that Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam used to say: “Whoever performs Wudhu despite being in a state of impurity, shall have 10 good deeds recorded in his favour.” [Abu Dawud]
Abdullah ibn Buridah Radiallahu Anhu narrates from his father: “Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam got up one morning, called for Bilaal Radiallahu Anhu, and asked him, ‘O Bilaal! How did you precede me to Jannah? I went to Jannah last night and I heard your sounds in front of me.’ Bilaal Radiallahu Anhu replied, ‘O Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam! Every time I call out the Adhaan, I offer two Rakaats of Salaah. And every time my Wudhu breaks, I perform a fresh Wudhu immediately.’ Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, ‘It is because of these actions (that you preceded me).’ [Ibn Khuzaymah]
