Question:
I go out forty days in Jamaat every year. I am currently due to go out abroad in Jamaat. There has been a requests for South African Jamaats to go to the USA .Would it be advisable to travel there purely for the sake of Tableegh?
Answer:
Tableeghi brothers go out in the path of Allah primarily for their own reformation and to remind fellow Muslim brothers. The Quraan Sharif states, “Continue reminding for verily reminder is beneficial for the believers.” [Surah 51, Verse 55]. There is no issue travelling for this objective and purpose, hence one may travel to the USA in the path of Allah. We are sure that you are taking guidance from the senior Tablighi elders.
