Using A Phone To Deliver A Khutbah
QUESTION:
We have noticed a trend where some people read the Jumu’ah or Eid Khutbah from a phone, or refer to it when delivering a Bayaan. Is it acceptable to do this?
ANSWER:
We are not in favour of using phones and devices whilst delivering the Khutbahs or Bayaans. One should rather use a Kitaab (book).
