Wearing a ring
Question:-
I want to enquire regarding wearing rings on the middle finger, index finger and thumb. I’ve read somewhere that is forbidden to wear a ring on these fingers?
Answer:-
The ring should be worn on the baby finger (little finger) of the right or left hand.
تختم كيف شئت ولا تبالي … بخنصرك اليمين أو الشمال (الدر المختار ص362 ج6)
وقياساً على الشرب من يده وعلى خنصره خاتم فضة، فإن ذلك لا يكره (المحيط البرهاني ص347 ج5)
