QUESTION:
I have a 15-day Tuhr and 10-day Haidh habit. I’ve noticed the yellowish discharge is constant. There aren’t any days that are clear or white discharge. The 10 days of bleeding actual blood is falling in my days of Istihaadha, while the days of yellow discharge are falling in my days of Haidh. Will the yellow discharge be considered normal discharge? And the days of actual bleeding be Haidh?
ANSWER:
It is mentioned in the Kitaabs of Fiqh that if a woman sees yellow or brown discharge after her habit of Haidh, then it will not be considered as Haidh. However, in your instance you are noticing yellow blood during the days of Haidh and normal bleeding after your Haidh habit, hence the yellow colour bleeding experienced in the days of Haidh will be considered as Haidh, and the normal bleeding (after the days of Haidh) will be considered as Istihaadha. This will be the ruling based on the text of the jurists which we have quoted below.
