Dua to be recited to live separately from in-laws
Question:-
I would like to know if there is a specific Dua to be recited to live separately from in-laws?
Answer:-
We haven’t come across any Dua to live separately from one’s in-laws. We are taught in the Hadith Sharif that we should adopt the character of Allah Ta’ala. Allah Ta’ala is extremely tolerant towards His creation, to the extent that, He takes care of the Kuffar, and even the atheist, who deny His existence. Similarly, Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam overlooked the wrongs of the enemies, and even made Dua for their forgiveness and guidance. Allah Ta’ala mentioning the qualities of Ibrahim Alaihis Salaam in the Quraan Sharif states, “Ibrahim Alaihis Salaam was extremely soft-hearted, tolerant.” [Surah Taubah]
Now, in a marriage we will experience issues at times. Sometimes, these will be resolved with ease, whilst at other times we will have to exercise patience, for which we will be greatly rewarded.
There is no harm in making Dua to Allah Ta’ala to give you your own place, but if the decision of Allah Ta’ala is otherwise, then you should be tolerant and be pleased with His decision. Always try to be kind to those around you.
ALLAH TA’ALA KNOWS BEST!
