Meeting one’s family members after demise

Question:-

I’d like to know that if I’m buried in Azaadville and my loved ones are in Lenasia, will I still be able to meet my loved ones in the world of the Barzakh?

Answer:-

Yes, it is recorded in a narration that when one passes away, then all the deceased relatives and family meet the Mayyit, and he/she is most pleased with them, and they are more pleased with him than a traveller that comes to his family. Hence, the Mayyit will meet his, or her, relatives even though they may be buried in different places.

وَأخرج عَن ثَابت الْبنانِيّ قَالَ بلغنَا أَن الْمَيِّت إِذا مَاتَ إحتوشه أَهله وأقاربه الَّذين قد تقدموه من الْمَوْتَى فَلَهو أفرح بهم وَلَهُم أفرح بِهِ من الْمُسَافِر إِذا قدم إِلَى أَهله (شرح الصدور ص97/98)
