Coloured Discharge

Q1. A female saw a coloured discharge after it had dried. She does not know what colour it was when it was wet. However, the rest of the day (before and after this) she saw a normal discharge (not this colour). Should this dry, coloured discharge be considered as Haidh or not?

A1. The colour is considered before drying. As such it should be considered as clear discharge and not part of Haidh.

Q2. A female is unsure of the colour of the discharge due to the lighting and colour of the toilet paper. Should she consider it to be blood or not?

A2. If it is within her days of Haidh, she will consider it as Haidh, and if it is within her days of purity, she will not consider it as Haidh.

(وَالمُعْتَبَرُ فِي اللَّوْنِ) مِنْ حُمْرَةٍ أَوْ غَيْرِهَا (حِينَ يَرْتَفِعُ الحَشْوُ)أَيْ: الكُرْسُفُ (وَهُوَ طَرِيٌّ، وَلا يُعْتَبَرُ التَّغَيُّرُ) إِلَى لَوْنٍ آخَرٍ (بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ) كَمَا لَوْ رَأَتْ بَيَاضاً فَاصْفَرَّ بَعْدَ اليُبْسِ أَوْ بِالعَكْسِ (١)، اعْتُبِرَ مَا كَانَ قَبْلَ التَّغَيُّرِ. . وفي ” مبسوط أبي بكر ” عن أبي منصور الماتريدي: لو اعتادت أن ترى أيام طهرها صفرة وأيام حيضها حمرة فحكم صفرتها حكم الطهر بدلالة الحال (البناية ج١ ص٥٢٤)

حیض مدت کے اندر سرخ، زرد، سبز، مٹیالا، سیاہ، اور گدلا جو بھی رنگ آئے سب حیض ہے، ہاں اگر خالص سفید مادہ دیکھا تو وہ حیض نہیں ۔ کتاب المسائل (ج1 ص21ص215
