Exposure Of Undergarment In Salaah

QUESTION:

In Ruku or Sujood, if my clothes shift such that my undergarment can be seen but no skin is exposed, is my Awrah still considered covered and the Salaah valid?

ANSWER:

Fuqaha state that if the Awrah (the area from below the navel to below the knees) is exposed for the duration of three SubhaanAllah, then the Salaah will be invalidated.

However, you have stated that your skin could not be seen and only your undergarment was exposed. Hence, the Salaah is valid.

Also, in future you should wear loose garments whilst performing Salaah, as this is closest to the Sunnah.
