QUESTION:
Please explain in detail the ruling behind unveiling the face in Ihraam?
ANSWER:
The Hadith states that the Ihraam of a woman is in her face, hence the face should be left exposed. However, due to Fitnah, a female should protect herself by donning the Purdah cap which will not necessitate a Damm.
