Salaah after Tawaaf

Question:-

1. Is it permissible to make one’s tawaafs and thereafter, read the Waajib Salaah for them. For example, a person makes 3 Tawaafs one after the other, and after completing them, he reads 3 x 2 Rakaats Waajib Salaah.

2. Or Will it be better to read the 2 Rakaats after each Tawaaf?

Answer:-

If Tawaaf is made during the Makrooh times of Salaah such as, after the Fajr Salaah or, after the Asr Salaah, then one is not permitted to perform Salaah after completing the Tawaaf, since performing Salaah at these times is Makrooh. In this instance, it will be permissible to perform multiple Tawaafs and then perform the Waajib Salaah, once the Makrooh time has elapsed.

However, if Tawaaf is performed at any other time (i.e. besides the Makrooh times), then one should refrain from performing multiple Tawaafs and then performing the Waajib Salaah of Tawaaf at once, as doing so is considered to be Makrooh. In such an instance, one should perform the Waajib-ut-Tawaaf Salaah after every Tawaaf before commencing with the next Tawaaf.

وَيُصَلِّي لِكُلِّ أُسْبُوعٍ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فِي الْوَقْتِ الَّذِي يُبَاحُ فِيهِ التَّطَوُّعُ كَذَا فِي شَرْحِ الطَّحَاوِيِّ وَيُكْرَهُ لَهُ الْجَمْعُ بَيْنَ الْأُسْبُوعَيْنِ بِغَيْرِ صَلَاةٍ بَيْنَهُمَا فِي قَوْلِ أَبِي حَنِيفَةَ وَمُحَمَّدٍ رَحِمَهُمَا اللَّهُ تَعَالَى
