QUESTION:
If Umrah is completed, is it necessary to remove the Ihraam immediately or can one delay removal of the Ihraam for day or two and then trim the hair and come out of Ihraam?
ANSWER:
After performing Umrah one will remain in the state of Ihraam until the hair is removed. There is no stipulated time to remove the Ihraam. However, one should be careful that none of the prohibitions of Ihraam are perpetrated. If any of the prohibitions are perpetrated, then Damm could be applicable demanding on the nature of the error.
