Purification Due To Madhi

QUESTION:

If a woman is passionately kissed by a non-Mahram, and as a result, her underwear becomes wet due to fluid discharged from her private area, is Ghusl necessary?

ANSWER:

We make Dua to Allah Ta’ala that out of His infinite Mercy, He saves and protects us from all types of evil, lust and temptations which are forbidden in Islam, Aameen!

Acts of this nature that are carried out, out of wedlock, are forbidden in Shari’ah. We advise that sincere Taubah and an intention to never engage in such acts again be made. Allah Ta’ala loves it when we turn to Him in repentance, for He is the Most Merciful and Most Forgiving.

Regarding your query, among the various classifications of vaginal discharge, the Fuqaha (jurists) have classified the above as Madhi (pre-seminal fluid), which nullifies one’s Wudhu; therefore, Ghusl is not necessary. However, one should wash one’s private part.

بفتح الميم وسكون الدال المعجمة وكسرها وهو ماء أبيض رقيق يخرج عند شهوة لا بشهوة ولا دفق ولا يعقبه فتور وربما لا يحس بخروجه وهو أغلب في النساء من الرجال.
